Hey!! Please can anyone help. Sometimes when i do ICSI, after i enter the egg with the injection pipette and i aspirate some cytoplasm, when i try to release the cytoplasm back, the sperm doesnt get down and stays sticked into the injection pipette. what shall i do to avoid pvp from entering while letting the sperm down in such cases?? jenny [ Reply here ]

Keep the sperm on the top of it. If you work with oil ICSI pipette, get rid of air bubble in the pipette. I hope this can help

Re: Minc vs ORGIO/Planer Benchtop Incubator BT37
Having experience of both incubators I have found them to be very similar in terms of design and function. Both are capable of supporting embryo growth with reduced oxygen levels and both have broadly similar features. The mincs do have the track record but I would suggest that all companies have to start somewhere with a new product and the BT37 is a valuable addition to the market of small volume, reduced oxygen incubators. Ultimately I think you would be pleased with either and other factors may affect your decision (Price, support etc) as to which to buy

Re: Embryologic events after emergency rescue ICSI
For rescue ICSI cases, you should do early rescue ICSI and please read rescue ICSI paper published by DRs Yuzpe and Liu for details. We have achived over 30% dilivery rates for Day 4 transfer with early rescue ICSI and had 20 babies aged from 1 to 12 years. old.

Re: Testicular biospy red blood cells
I don\'t use any lysis buffer.I strongly grab the tiny piece of tissue with a gauze and I squeeze it.Then I wash the piece of tissue with PBS. I repeat these 2 steps 3 times. Finally I rend the tissue using two slides.
