| According to knowledge from traditional Chinese medicine, proper time of drug application is very important for better outcome. What I mean is for example Menopur or any other type of drug used for induction of ovulation is it better to be taken at 1 p.m. instead of 2.a.m. Do you have any experience in this. In advance , Thanks Bojana

Re: Time of drug application
I don't have any anecdotes on your topic, but I think you have touched on one of many areas of ART that is often overlooked - what is the seasonality of human reproduction and what are the effects of photoperiod (melatonin et al) on suppression or augmentation(?) of gonadotropin injections, as two examples.
Patients are told to take injections around a schedule that is convenient for them, with the exception of the hCG (or GnRH) shot at the end of the IVF stimulation, not according to any form of science. Years of giving gonadotropin shots to laboratory animals and livestock taught me that photoperiod and timing is important. And as we are mammals, why should the rules of nature be any different?
For curiosity sake, what difficulties and successes are there for clinics working in different latitudes, according to light and dark cycles?
Interesting topic.
