Re: Off gassing culture dishes
A good basic question - years back there were many papers on ethylene oxide residue and the need for off-gassing, but those days are essentially behind us.
Now we have irradiated plastics, sealed in plastic. And most of us would agree that you can smell the " -ene " gasses when you open a new pack of dishes. I have a few older references that might give recommendations, but I don't recall seeing that information - just general comments about airing the dishes out.
Do dishes ever stop off-gassing? We store them at room temperature, then heat them up. But in the incubator, there are scavengers that do help - water pans, oil overlay if used, filtration systems if used.
I don't have a good answer, sorry.
Here are a few older references -

Re: Testicular biopsy cryopreservation
TESE processing
Opthalmic scissors (spring loaded)can be utilized for fine shredding of the testicular biopsy in the sperm preparation media, the motility improves over 2 to 3 hours, therefore biopsy should be processed before the oocyte retrieval. the resulting suspension can be cryopreserved for future use.
