Databases for Semen
There are no programs I know of that combine a database with an easy to use statistical package. The easiest would be to write the database in Access and then copy the info into Excel for manipulation and "validation." Then for a statistical analysis you can use something like SPSS (which is quite expensive) or MediCalc, which I feel is one of the best inexpensive statistic programs for Medicine. Some forego the Access part and just put the data right into Excel, but Access is more powerful and flexible.

Slow CO2 Equilibration
I routinely plot CO2 concentration over time after a short opening of the incubator to detect problems with my incubators. If your fan is not working, it will equilibrate over night, but equilibration will be slow. Another reason for the discrepency could be due to humidity changes. If this incubator uses a thermoconductivity meter to measure CO2, then the "real" CO2 concentration will be affected by humidity as will the time to equilibration, if measured by and independent device.
