| I have a 35 year old patient: Fresh cycle, ONE blast transfer: di/mo twins, lost @22 weeks FET of one blast: chemical pregnancy FET of 2 blasts: chemical pregnancy Patient response well to oestrogen & lining looked good in all cases. Any suggestions for reason for chemical pregnancies?

Re: Sperm Immobilisation
I was thought that immobilization of sperm with ICSI pipet can also damage the membrance of sperm, which may induce (?) acrosome reaction and give better fertilization. However, when the sperm was immobilized at the end of sperm tail, it does not affact fertilization. So I believe it is easier to catch sperm and perform ICSI after immobilization.
