	We have observed that some two cell embryos at early cleave check show more than one nucleus in the blastomeres. The next day, when we do day 2 check these embryos, with four blastomeres show one nucleus per blastomere. Is this normal? Is it alright to transfer these embryos? S.Ram [ Reply here ]

Re: Multinucleate blastomeres
In our hands, the presence of multinucleation reduces the implantation potential of an embryo by approx. 50%. So we certainly do have ongoing pregnancies. We transfer them only when there is no other choice.
